We fund pioneering research to tackle bowel cancer.

Story

On 26th April I'll be abseiling off the Bobby Moore Stand at West Ham's stadium to raise money for the Bobby Moore Fund for Cancer Research. The event has been organised by Jonjo Heuerman who, after losing his nan to bowel cancer, set about raising money and has so far raised over £150,000 for this great cause. At 12 years old, he is too young to abseil himself but I'm pleased to be part of his team for the day.

The stand is 200ft high, I don't like heights and there's chance I'll 'ruin' my West Ham shorts...please spare what you can so my embarrassment is not in vain !!

Thanks for reading.

Stephanie Moore MBE set up the Bobby Moore Fund in partnership with Cancer Research UK, following the death of her husband, Bobby Moore, from bowel cancer. The Bobby Moore Fund is now a leader in the fight against bowel cancer, funding research that’s helping more people to survive than ever before.
