Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Below is the story of my friends little girl, having a disabled brother myself when I heard Scarlett could have this operation and that there was something I could do that would help make that possible I couldn't say no! Please read Scarlett's story thanks a lot Barry.
Little Scarlett is 8 years old and has Cerebral Palsy, she was born 2 months premature, she had to be resuscitated at birth, and was then put onto life support machine. 24 hours after being born the doctors detected a serious heart defect and Scarlett's was diagnosed with transposition of the great Arteries. She underwent open heart surgery at 2 weeks old weighing a mere 5lb, The smallest baby the surgeon said he had carried out this operation on.
Because of the lack of oxygen to Scarlett's brain she sustained brain damage which has led to her now having spastic diaplegia cerebral palsy.
Scarlett is a happy little girl and she would love to be able to ride a bike or jump on the trampoline just like her 2 sisters.
So if you could sponsor me for this skydive we can help to raise the money needed for Scarlett to go to America and have a life changing operation. Thanks again Barry.
