Dear Friends,

Laura and I would like to thank you for supporting us – and our Horde, including Dries and Miriam,  when we ran 20km for Myeloma UK on 18 May this year. Despite the intense Belgian heat, we made it with our feet, limbs and egos intact – and in under 2 ½ hours!

Most importantly thanks to your generosity, we raised a whopping 1,641.27 Euros for this important and underfunded cause, surpassing our fundraising target!!

Our friend would like to pass on her thanks, as would Myeloma UK. For such a rare cancer and with a small funding stream, every penny counts.

We've joined together to raise money for the fantastic charity Myeloma UK, after our friend was diagnosed with myeloma in 2012, aged 33.

Myeloma is a cancer of blood cells made in the bone marrow. Thanks to new drugs it is treatable for a number of years - but a cure is desperately needed.

Myeloma represents 1% of all cancers (it affects 4,700 people in the UK each year). So very few people are out there fundraising for myeloma research. Your help makes a real difference.
