As most of you will know Richard sadly lost his battle with Lymphoma in 2013. 

Ever since my sisters and I have been trying to organise and run charity fundraising events to raise money for Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research in his memory.

John Brocklehurst and Jenny Goss also too sadly lost thier lives to Cancer so our want to raise awarness and money for charity is even more important to our families. 

I am setting myself a number of challenges over the next 6 months or so with the aim to try and raise £5,000 for the charity.

so far my challenges are:

September: My hair is finally long enough to be able to donate it to the Little Princess Trust charity who specalise in making and suppling wigs for children with cancer. I will have my hair cut weekend of 20th September and donate my hair before I go to Australia. I''ve loved having long hair but now i'd like to donate it for a good cause. 

October: I am in Australia for the month but I will see if there is anything I can do while I am there.....

November, December & January: At the beginning of this year i took part in a 2 month dryathon to raise money for cancer research, It was tough at times but I did it. I have decided to challenge myself again and di a 3 month dryathon this year which will fall over Christmas and New Year, ekkk.... but bring it on!

I have not yet got any other set challenges but I am looking to FINALLY do a 10k run in the new year and I will sort out some other challenges to add to the list

In between challenges I will do some cake sale and bits and bobs to help top up the fundraising pot.

I will also challenge myself to stop swearing..... I really should... so for every time i say a swear word I will also donate 50p to the fundraising pot.
