Where will your money go??

£35,000 is all it takes to build a much needed secondary school in Kenya. Additional funds will be used to help the Memusi Foundation provide educational opportunities to more children in rural Africa..

FoundationOne Classroom Per Year

Within each Memusi Foundation School, we provide a commitment to a community to develop schools on a one classroom per year basis to the end of primary school level. Once at the end of Primary level, we then analyse the need for secondary education or secondary education scholarships to finalise the education needs in the community. Through a slow build process, we as a charity are able to carefully manage the growth of our own projects, but also ensure that the communities adapt at a pace that they are also comfortable with. Our model enables culture to change and adapt at a pace that is embraced.Through our one classroom per year approach, the business community engage through the schools ability to demonstrate a steady level of success. The development of business relationships is pivotal to our model in ensuring that the value of our childrens academic quality can meet, support and benefit the local economy. As a charity, we endeavour to strengthen our work throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, and increasingour projects in the countries where we currently operate. We continue to work in the field establishing the relationships with communities where the next Memusi projects will establish. At the correct level of funding within the charity, the implementation of our 'one classroomper year' strategy would be implemented in the new areas.
