The parks police team have decided to raise money for a great charity situated in one of Enfields most beautiful parks.....

WRAS is dedicated to helping sick and injured wild animals and birds in North London. WRAS has been running since the 1980s and has been located in Trent Country Park in Enfield since 1999. They hope to stay there for many more years to come but need public support in order to do this

They aim to enable visitors to get close to the resident wildlife and to understand the problems that wild animals and birds in our modern society and also to educate people as to how we can help to protect our wild creatures from harm such as poison  and injury.

They rely on public donations to keep the centre running  so dig deep people!!!

About the charity

The Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service was founded in 1985. The team provide a safe home for rescued wildlife who are sick, injured, or orphaned. Our rehabilitation programme aims to release animals and birds back into to the wild.
