My blonde friend and I have teamed up to raise desperately needed funds towards building an Isolation Block at the Animal SOS sanctuary in Sri Lanka. Our challenge is to walk Hadrian's Wall (84 miles) in 7 days. You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. We are aiming to raise a quarter of the funds needed as a start and your donation can really help us smash this goal!

Animal SOS Sri Lanka transforms the lives of abused and injured strays by caring for them at their sanctuary on the south coast. They have an on-site vet and are open 365 days of the year. As well as running a very busy sanctuary they also carry out local weekly outreach programmes to treat pets and educate the locals in caring for them.

The charity is run purely on volunteers with no government funding. Providing funds each month to care for over 600 dogs and 50 cats is a real struggle so we arrange fundraisers on a regular basis. Every couple of years a challenge is arranged to give us a big boost financially as well as raising further awareness so please, please support us by donating, every £1 counts and is so very much appreciated.
