Although I didn’t know Sarah, I have learnt through friends and the community what an inspirational character she was. Following her tragic murder last year, I am proud to be part of the Sarah Groves Foundation whose aims are simple – to honour and keep alive her memory through her passions and interests in life - Children, Art, Fitness and Adventure. The key objective of the foundation is to enable people from all walks of life to 'lead a life less ordinary'.

I haven’t been on a bike since I was 16, I’m not a fan of lycra, and I’m not even sure I can get my feet in and out of these ridiculous pedal clips road bikes seem to have. Contrary to these factors, I will be one of 50 people in a tour which will cycle 600 miles in 6 days in a round trip from Guernsey to Paris and back. I have covered the cost of my travel and equipment and every penny donated through this tour will go in its entirety straight into the charity. Any donation you can give will be hugely appreciated.
