On April 7 I will be one of two girls on a team of 18, cycling 300km from Paris to Calais. I am doing this as the first leg of a week-long mission; other team members are then rowing from Calais to Dover, and running to London, before finishing off with the London Marathon.

The team is aiming to raise £30,000 for Children with Cancer UK, and I hope to raise at least £2000 individually. I'd be hugely grateful if you could show your support by donating whatever you can for this excellent cause.

My training for this involves numerous pre-working day hours spent racing around different London parks, along with a few weekend 70 mile sportive rides. This wet and windy winter has not made cycling a pleasure, and the grim conditions look set to continue for a while. So please give whatever you can so that I have the extra motivation of watching my sponsorship tally rise whilst I clock up those additional leg miles.
