Hi guys :)
I will be sleeping out in the streets of Coventry for one night to help raise money for Coventry Cyrenians, a charity that aims to help the homeless.

I don't always like the idea of asking people to donate money for a good cause in return for something I'll be doing, because helping others is something we can all try doing without such encouragement if we have the means- but this sleepout has more meaning to me.

Although shelter is a basic human right, it's something that I've always taken for granted. I never had to sleep outisde the middle of winter, so roughing it on the streets will be a completely new experience for me. I know it won't be easy- and I know it's nothing compared to the struggle of those who spend their whole lives living on the street..

But I'm really excited to go out of my way to raise some money for a good cause, so please donate what you can- every penny is appreciated and will be put to incredible use!!
