We help people trapped by unemployment to transform their future

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Here are a few words about the challenge and the charity:

·         The challenge is to climb the five highest peaks in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland within 48 hours as part of a team from Barclays.  The event starts at the foot of Mount Snowdon on the morning of 3 July and finishes on Carrauntoohil (in Ireland) the morning of 5 July.

·         The charity I'm working with is Tomorrow’s People. Unemployment is one of the biggest problems facing society today with over 1 million under-25s in the UK out of work.  Tomorrow's People are dedicated to getting the most disadvantaged unemployed people in the hardest to reach parts of our communities into jobs, breaking the cycle of families where generation after generation do not work.  Tomorrow's People rely on the public's generosity to do their great work, so 48 hours of pain is a small price for me to pay to help their cause.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
