We fund research into childhood cancer to save and improve young lives

Story

In April 2014, a select few will be cycling from Paris to Calais, rowing the English Channel and then running to London to then take part in the Marathon.

Having not taken part in physical exercise since playing a game of squash in 2002, I though that I could be a valuable member of the team and signed up without a second thought! I will be part of the team rowing the Channel which should take 6-8 hours. To do this, I have given up smoking, am doing 30k+ on the rowing machine per week, will be sea training in the middle of winter and, most importantly, have limited beer intake!!!! Now surely that is worth a few quid!!!

Being a dad, I am reall happy to be raising money for Children with Cancer UK. I hope that the combination of a great cause and the massive personal challenge ahead will inspire you to dig deep!

Many thanks in advance!
