The other morning, my sister, Gabriella, announced she was going to do the Dryathlon for Cancer Research and asked if I'd join her team.

I'm not really an 'athlon' or an 'athon' kind of person, unless it involves craft. Or sitting. So I thought that this would be a relatively easy way of supporting a charity without having to move off my sofa.

This isn't going to be easy, due to the fact I'm a big fan of alcohol, but I want to do it to raise some money to make me feel good, save some money and perhaps reduce my waistline!

Good. Grief.

Please give generously! I need some more motivation!
