Next summer im cycling from Leeds to Berlin in 8 days (550 miles) with the Raise and Give society of Leeds University. This is in aid of a youth trust for cancer patients. A summary from their website is:

The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust supports measures to improve the quality of life for teenage cancer patients during their frequent and debilitating stays in hospitals. Furthermore research from the funds we raise will bring increased understanding of cancer in this age group, improved treatments and ultimately more young lives will be saved.
