In memory of William Savage

Story

just like to say thanks for all th donations been made so far.

For the past few years, Cpl William Savage would spend the month of October recruiting his fellow soldiers into growing a moustache in November for the Movember campaign.

Despite the constant jokes at his expense, as his upper lip took on a form that would make you think he had a ferret hanging from his nose, Sav continued, unhindered by the jokes.

Devastatingly, on the 30th of April this year,  Sav was taken from us, along with 2 comrades, while he was serving in Afghanistan. They are sorely missed by all who knew them, but they will never be forgotten.

This year we will be growing moustaches during the month of November, the month has now been renamed Savember in memory of our fallen brother, to mark the commitment and dedication that he applied to everything he done.

All donations will go to the Royal Regiment of Scotland Association, a charity which helps injured sodiers and the families of the berieved to get through the many difiicult days that follow an injury or death.

Any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated.
