I didn't get a place on the London Marathon ballot, so I have managed to secure a gold bond charity place for Parkinson's UK. The only snag.... I need to raise £1,900! So I need your help.

My lovely mum suffers from Parkinson's, so each of the 26.2 miles will be in her honour. She inspires everyone who knows her with her dogged determination not to let this vile disease overcome her. Never moaning, complaining and most importantly, never giving up, she is one very special lady and I couldn't be more proud of her. 

This one's for you mummy!

Parkinson's UK does sterling work in helping people around the UK like my mum and also funds research and studies to help find a cure for this awful disease.

So dig deep if you can and I'll keep training in the dark, cold and rain to try and do you all proud xxx
