Being a HEMS Paramedic with the Wales Air Ambulance gives me first hand experience on why this service is so essential in Wales. We provide rapid pre-hospital medical and trauma care and can get anywhere within Wales in under twenty minutes.  We can then get you to the most appropriate treatment centre in under thirty minutes which is vital in improving clinical outcome.

With Wales being so diverse in geography, this service is vital.

Wales Air Ambulance is a registered charity.  We keep flying thanks to people like yourselves who put your hands in your pocket to keep us in the air.  We do not get any financial support from goverment or national lottery funding.  Its all thanks to the good people like yourself.

In September 2014, I will be riding from Caernarfon Airbase to Folly Farm in Pembrokeshire via Welshpool Airbase.  This is going to be undertaken in three days and we will be traveling through many towns and villages through Wales. All this on a bicycle covering 228 miles.
