I don't usually ask people to sponsor me for running events as I compete for Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde Athletics Club anyway, however this is a new challenge for me as it's my first ever half marathon.  My training is going ok but it's still going to be difficult as 13.1 miles is a long way!!  Cancer charities are very close to my heart and this is why I have selected The Christie charity to benefit form sponsorship donations for this challenge.  I would be so grateful if you could spare a few pounds to sponsor me (it doesn't matter how small, every penny counts!).
