Story

When I met my girlfriend 2 years ago she told me her brother had MND. I had no idea what this was. I have since found out that its a terrible disease that can happen to anyone at any time. Sandra's brother Dave was 52 when he collapsed a couple of times for no reason. He was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease and given only a few months to live. Two and a half years later he is still with us fighting. He cannot move any part of his body except his neck and eyes and cannot speak. He communicates with a Toby Eye Gaze which is operated by using the eyes alone. He has to have 24 hour care for fear of him choking. He was a big lad and is now a shadow of his former self due to being fed from a peg in his stomach. I would not wish this on anyone yet he can still smile even though he is in constant pain. The skydive we are doing is to draw attention to and to raise money for the fight against this awful disease. Thank you for your help.

On November 19th 2013 David sadly died.
