We fund life saving medical research to beat the world's biggest killers.

Story

Many years ago my Grandma Ruth Swann was one of the first people to have a plastic aortic valve fitted. Around 15 doctors watched this pioneering operation and afterwards informed her that it should give her another 10 years of life. A little over 10 years later my Gran died as a result of her heart problems but not before the births of me and my brother. The operation bought my brother and I some precious time with our Grandmother which would have been denied to us had it not have been for the development of new treatments for heart problems. Recently my Father has had a Pacemaker fitted and his Brother and Sister have both suffered heart attacks, unfortunately my Uncle died but thankfully after heart surgery my Auntie survived. So  I am wanting to make a small contribution to an organisation that has made a huge difference to the lives of me and my family
