Women V Cancer is a series of women-only cycle challenges in aid of three British charities – Breast Cancer Care, (RCN: 1017658), Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust (RCN: 113354/SCO41236) and Ovarian Cancer Action (RCN: 1109743) – raising vital funds to fight breast, cervical and ovarian cancers. The donations you make to Women V Cancer will be distributed equally between them.

Many years ago and now thankfully in the clear my Mother was affected by one of these diseases. She was one of the lucky ones (and I guess me too as I still have my Mother here today) but many are not so lucky as me. Many of us are in some way affected by one or more of these, whether it be a family member, friend or colleague at work. It's for this reason it's so important that we raise as much money to help support these people and their families at a time when they need it most.

This challenge will be the most difficult thing I have ever done and probably will ever do, so please please support me and the worthwhile cause I'm doing it for.
