Ok... so it started like this:

F - Would you like to come to Style in the City

Me - Ooh yes that would be wonderful.... sounds like a lovely afternoon out....

Several bottles SORRY glasses of wine later I found that not only had I bid for an auction prize and won but I'd also signed up for Barry's Project 150. 

Barry has pledged to raise £150,000 for a new high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) room as part of the Yoing Oncology Unit at Christies where teenagers and young adults having treatment for cancer can stay in a safe environment.

Its a brilliant cause (and a tremendous ask) but after hearing Barry's inspirational talk how could I resist. (hmmm that will be the wine then....)

So... I have to turn my £5 into AT LEAST £150...

I have done a parachute jump and an abseil and neither helped with my fear of heights so I decided to do a Zipslide Challenge.

'The Imperial War Museum North offers a thrilling 250m zip across the Manchester Ship Canal, landing in front of the Lowry. Participants will launch themselves from the Air Shard at a height of 30m'

Combining my fear of heights with my fear of canals (i kid you not) will be... exciting I am sure.
