AMV BBDGO Relay is the second of Bud's initiatives - an ambitious relay race from John O'Groats to 151 Marylebone Road taking place over six days.

We're raising the bar this year by engaging the whole Agency in a mammoth 25-leg relay race across the country. From hard core cycling to 6-mile running to a pram race, we want everyone to get involved and raise money for a hugely worthwhile cause: Brain Tumour Research.

 

I am one of just two support drivers who will making the trip from Scotland down to the agency and will be on hand to provide equipment, refreshment, encouragement and first aid if needed.  As you may know, I'm rather squeamish, so I'm hoping my first aid skills will be surplus to requirements!

 

As well as the long drive through the country, I'm also taking part in the Doggie-dash leg.  I will be joining a troup of 15 humans and 15 canines on a 5 mile walk through Richmond Park. It may not be the longest leg but it will certainly have the most legs!! And just in case you think this is just a stroll in the park, we will all be dressing up as our dogs to draw attention to ourselves and let everyone know we are raising money for charity.  I am borrowing Dylan for the walk - a gorgeous black miniature schnauzer...which means I'll be dressing up with comedy facial hair for the event!
