Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year, my big brother Kev ran the Great Birmingham Run. He had trained hard and was excited to be competing. He completed the course but collapsed just after crossing the finishing line. Medical staff tried to revive him but he died a short time later. We have been left heartbroken since that day but are determined to do something good in his memory. CRY is a great cause that provides heart screening and support  for those affected by SADS (Sudden Adult Death Syndrome) and we would be grateful for even the smallest of donations.

Unlike Kev, I've never been one for exercisng and running is completely alien to me. However, I will complete this course, even if it takes me 6 hours.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Each week at least twelve young people in the UK die suddenly as a result of undiagnosed heart conditions. At Cardiac Risk In the Young we aim to save young lives & to help those affected by the sudden cardiac death. We do this by providing support, information & screening those affected.
