Well - we managed it! Two 63 year olds on a 40 year old Claud Butler tandem, we rode well over ten miles to visit ten parishes in under 48 hours.

We started on Friday evening cycling to Hambridge and then to a decent local pub in Barrington; fortified by a pint we went on up the hill to Puckington and then back home through the lanes. On Saturday we rode through farmyard and track to Isle Abbots and then a four mile trek to Curry Mallet and all the way to Beercrocombe. We then rode back up to Fivehead and from there on to the tiny church of Swell. Finally this morning we made it to Drayton  and after a refreshing coffee at Drayton Nursery - thanks for the donation - we returned to our home village of Isle Brewers
