Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page For the Malle to Hartley Wintney bike ride!  Another little challenge has tempted me and so, on 22 August I will be joining 35 others to do a 300 mile bike ride, over four days, from Malle (because it is the twin town of Hartley Wintney) back to Hartley Wintney.

Along with my cycling friends, i will be cycling to raise money for St John's church, St Michael's hospice and the Matthew Eldridge Trust, all three are local and worthy causes. In particular, if you look up the Matthew Eldridge trust, you will realise that this is particularly close to my heart and don't be surprised if you see me getting more involved with the trust, but that's for another day!

My bike and my butt have been well tested and I won't be the fastest but I am determined to finish the ride and in my small way, support these wonderful charities and any support you are able to give would be much appreciated.

Thanks so much

About the charity

St John's Church is the parish church in the Hampshire village of Hartley Wintney. In April 2012, the church commenced the building of a new £2.3m Church Centre, which, when completed in June 2013, will provide new facilities for our church and wider community. Please help us to raise the final 20%.
