We fund life-changing and life-saving work to support cancer patients at The Christie
Story
This year BBC Radio Manchester is trying to raise a million pounds for the Christie Hospital in Manchester. I work with Phil who is raising his cash through eating and baking lots of cakes. I therefore thought it was best one of the team thought about their waist line! SO...I'm cycling from Manchester to Blackpool on the 14th July. I've always been into my fitness but road biking is new to me. I'm inspired by the riders in the tour de france but the way my legs feel when I get up shows I'm nowhere near as good as them! I'm training hard though. Any donations you can send my way to give me a bit of encouragement to reach the finish line would be much appreciated. I'm riding with my good friend Martin Wiggan and there's no way I'll do it without him by my side - so dig deep for him too!
Listen to how we do on BBC Radio Manchester on the 14th July!
The Christie charity provides enhanced services over and above what the NHS funds.
Your support can help us to fund life-changing and potentially life-saving projects that will benefit cancer patients both now and in the future.
