Story

We've decided to ride to Edinburgh from York for the challenge and to raise some money for a charity that we hope never to use.
Despite the best preparations, it can go wrong in the hills. The Mountain Rescue Committee Of Scotland are the heroes who will do their best to make sure you get home, no matter how bad a day it turns out to be.

We haven’t chosen the easiest route across the border, but it it'll be scenic, and probably "character building". Hopefully Mountain Rescue won't hear anything about it either ;)

Mountain Rescue Committee Of Scotland is the representative and co-ordinating body for all Scottish Mountain Rescue and as a charitable organisation they are funded entirely through voluntary contributions – thank you for your support.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
