As part of the fundraising team at Samaritans I see daily the shocking statistics associated with suicide and the stories of people who are affected by it.

For people my own age, suicide is the leading cause of death.

I know how much Samaritans can change lives for the better and equally know how we couldn't do any of it without people's generous donations.

I see many inspiring people raising money to keep Samaritans going, so it only seems fair that I practice what I preach and do the same!
