Having been diagnosed with MS nearly 15 years ago, one of the first things I did was contact the MS Society for some information.  They gave me excellent advice and guidance and were able to answer my immediate questions, of which there were many.  I have been lucky enough that my life has not been permanently affected by MS, but I have friends and family on whom the condition has had a more significant impact.  By swimming The Channel, I hope to raise funds to support the work of this charity so others continue to receive support during uncertain times.
