We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

On Saturday 15 June, I will be taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge along with a number of my colleagues from PageGroup, supporting our charity partner Alzheimer’s Research UK.

This is my second attempt at the Yorkshire Three Peaks and so I'm hoping to improve on my time and enjoy it at least half as much as I did last time back in 2010.  Weirdly I find walking harder than running (and no I'm not going to run it!) so this will be as challenging as most of my marathons and half marathons!

On a personal note Alzheimer's is a severely underfunded condition which will affect many of us and our relatives in our lives so every penny that you can contribute will make a real difference to many people now and in the future.

This will be PageGroup’s fifth annual trip to Yorkshire, enduring the 25 mile hike across the three tallest peaks in the Yorkshire Dales within 12 hours. Last year we raised over £40k and we saw 89 members of staff take part.

Together we will make a real difference to those affected by Alzheimer's.
