My crazy bike ride from London to Paris will be for British Heart Foundation, who are the organisers of the ride, Retts Syndrome Research Trust (RSRT).  The first £500 goes to BHF and the remainder to Rett Syndrome Research Trust UK (Reverse Rett).  This page is dedicated to Retts.

Retts arrived into our lives when our little God Daughter and niece, Lauren, was diagnosed with this condition three years ago.  She is not able walk, talk, use her hands or do anything for helself.  However, she does have the most wonderful and infectious smile which lights up the whole room.  

This crazy ride I am doing, all 279 miles, along with some mad friends and family, is a personal challenge for me as well as raising money for good causes.  Lauren's mum, Helen, is 40 this year and set up a fund - raising challenge, The Fabulous 40, where now over 40 friends and family are all attempting various fund raising events for RSRT.
