Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Its sad to say, in this day and age of the advanceness of medical science, we are still plagued with Cancer.

Everybody, yes, EVERYBODY, that you know, has, at some point in their life been affected by this evil disease.

I myself have lost relatives to Cancer. Its something everybody fears to hear.

My good friends Cath and Pete, had just that happen to them last October, when their little 9 year old daughter, Abby, was diagnosed with a rare bone cancer called Osteosarcoma.

Abby had to endure the most painful of treatments: Chemotherapy at Bristol Childens Hospital.

Since October, she has undergone a series of Chemotherapy sessions, and an operation to remove what is left of the tumor in her leg.

The good news is, the tumor responded well to the Chemo, and she is now undergoing a fresh programme of treatment to totally see off this bastard!!!

As a Mother of 2 children, I cannot  begin to imagine what Cath and Pete went through. I could only be there for emotional support for something I really, did not know anything about.

Clic Sargent have been a rock for Cath and Pete, Abbys's big sister Ellis and of course Abby, by helping their family stay together, whilst they went through this terrible, emotional time. This is why we want to give something back to such an amazing charity.

So.....here I am......putting my name forward for probably THE scariest things I've ever done.....I'M PETRIFIED OF HEIGHTS!!!!

I'm doing this as part of Team Abby with Abby's Step-Dad, Pete, and one of my best friends Zoe. I'm really excited and scared at the same time!!

And, its no ordinary Skydive.....we're dropping from 15,000 feet to try and set a Guiness World Record for the most Skydives done in one day! How amazing will that be? To set a World Record AND raise much needed funds.

Although, it doesn't come close to how scared little Abby must have been....therefore I salute  you Abby...the bravest little girl I have ever known  xxxxx

Please read up on the fantastic work Clic Sargent does, and please help me reach my target of £500
