Cancer is the toughest fight most people will ever face. Macmillan provides care and support for patients as well as those around them - family, loved ones, carers. People close to me have been affected by cancer and it's absolutely devastating. That's why Macmillan's work is so important. They provide medical care through nurses and therapists and finacial support and advice as well as just being there to help cope with the day to day practicalities of living with cancer.

This is why I'm raising money for Macmillan by running the Edinburgh Marathon. Anything you donate will be hugely appreciated and make a real difference to the lives of those living with cancer.
