So as you are all aware (and if you aren't, have seriously been dodging my facebook page) myself and my mad thespy friends decided we needed a challenge in 2013 so applied for various events including the Rat Race Dirty Weekend (a 20 mile race with 200 army-style obstacles) and the Bayer 10km. A group of runners of varying standards, we have been training really hard to achieve these goals and have collectively decided to raise money for CLIC, the Childrens Cancer Charity. As fun as it has been, there are times when you don't want to go out running in the snow or drag yourself out of bed for a 9am Parkrun on a Saturday so we seriously appreciate any donations people will make for such a worthy cause and we know that every penny will get us to that finish line!! One of our team knows a little boy who is fighting against this devastating disease and has seen first hand the massive impact donations can have on individuals and how every penny counts! So please dig deep, even £1 can make a difference. Thank you so much!
