In January 2013 our Mum , Annette Macaluso was taken ill and diagnosed with Acute Myloid Leukaemia. She was rushed to St Barts Hospital where she received excellent life saving treatment and Care. But in May 2013 the Leukaemia returned and Mum was tragically taken from us in June 2013.

She was so proud of us all deciding to take on the Britsih 10k to show our support and encouragement to her and now it means even more to us. 

Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the only UK charity dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for all blood cancers, including leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Most of the patients are bravely taking part in medical research studies whilst having their treatment to help others in the future.

We have decided to run the British 10K and do our bit to help Leukaemia and lymphoma Research. Please if you can, give any amount big or small, as it will help make a difference to us, my mum, the rest of our family and everyone else who now or in the future may be affected by Blood Cancer.
