We raise money to support Noah's Ark Children's Hospital

Story

FA Cup Final weekend (11 May) is also the weekend of the CARTEN 100, when an intrepid group of L&G employees will ride the 100 miles from Cardiff to Tenby, to help raise money for the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital appeal.

Setting off from the (Premier League) Cardiff City Stadium, the group will join 1,000 other riders on the journey west through Port Talbot, Llanelli, Carmarthen. They'll then go on to the infamous Red Roses hill before arriving in Tenby, anything between 6 and 8 hours later and, to the delight of some, 4,000 calories lighter.

Since 2004, Carten100 has raised over £182k for charity, including £80k in 2012 alone. The ride has grown in popularity each year, from the original 4 riders to 600 in 2012 and 1,000 this year. The team hope to make a big contribution to this year's fund raising and would really appreciate your support.

The 2013 riders that you may know/work with/feel sorry for/want to laugh at are:

Ian Christopher
Mark Cule
Marc Hurley
Matt Joy
Adrian Lee
Rhys Pitman
John Redmond
Jason Williams
