Story

I will be 40 in a year and a half and may well be having a mid-life crisis.  I also have a credit card and access to the internet. Advantage has been taken of my situation by Rat Race (and my mate David) and I have ended up entering an event to run across the country.  I have done it by train, car and bike.  How hard can it be to do it on foot?

It is important to get the key things sorted, so we have agreed on a team name.  We have become  "The Dashing Accountants", for two main reasons...

a) By reason of our running, we are dashing (well, sort of)

b) By reason of our jobs, we are accountants

So, The Wall - what's it all about? Well, in a nutshell it's two days to run from pretty much one end of Hadrian's Wall to the other. It starts at Carlisle Castle on the morning of 22nd June and, via an overnight camp at Vindolanda, it will end at The Baltic on Gateshead Quays sometime on 23rd June.

Please sponsor us.  It will help numb the pain.
