Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Cancer touched my family home in a way we'd never dreamed, it took my best friend, my brother and my parent's only son aged 18 bearly a man with so much ahead of him. Only old people die from Cancer right?? Wrong! Cancer cares not for your sex, age, gender, religion or even what football team you support.....

Now to the crucial part my brother was an avid Hammers fan and season ticket holder, he would always discharge himself from hospital during chemo treatment to go watch West Ham by hook or by crook and as the song goes he truly was "West Ham Til he died" 

Now it took time for our family to heal but both me and my Dad returned to Upton Park (after a few years) the place my brother loved best and was at his happiest - my Dad even managing to sit in my brother's old seat how very fitting!! Whilst supporting West Ham we came across a young man by the name of Jonjo Heuerman who has campaigned and worked so tirelessly along with his family to raise funds for bowel cancer via The Bobby Moore Cancer Fund.

How when losing someone so young ourselves could we ignore such a young boy fighting cancer in a very different way - needless to say we didn't. 

Last year I walked Wembley to Upton Park with Jonjo & Co to mark the 10th Anniversary of Michael's passing alongside 2 of my Aunties, this year the year Michael would be turning 30 years of age I do the same walk and ask for you to dig deep once again - For every £10,000 raised saves 1 life - I'd give every penny I ever earned to have saved my brother, donate donate donate is all I ask to help save others :) 

My 3 days of walking is part of a nationwide event organised by the Heuerman family involving all 92 professional football clubs please refer to www.fornannyandbobby.com for further details - this is one epic geographical, logistical event marking the 20th Anniversary of Bobby Moore's passing - it doesn't just have to be about Bobby you can walk too for those lost to cancer, those fighting or for those yet to fight. Cancer needs action it needs funds and it needs people like us to care and actually do something about it.
