We believe that every child has the right to shelter, food & love, one day at a time.

Story

I am planning to complete the Lyke Wake Walk, which is a complete crossing of the North Yorkshire moors along their main east-west watershed, a distance of approximately 40 miles.  This has to be done in a 24 hour period to  succesfully complete the challenge.

A friend of mine, Dave, suggested I might like to join in on this challenge.  I am doing this to raise money for Open Arms Malawi, Dave is visiting Malawi in the Summer to work on some of the projects we are fundraising for.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Today, 1,890 babies will be born in Malawi. 320 will become orphans. 87 will die before their first birthday from malnutrition or illness. We’re the only organisation in southern Malawi able to feed, house and care for these babies and support their return to their communities.
