Story

Extech are very proud to be taking part in the 'Manor Royal Monaco Challenge 2013' which has been arranged by Gatwick Diamond Business (gdb).

On Saturday 11th May 2013 twelve Audi's with four drivers per car, will meet at 5am at Basepoint Business Centre on Manor Royal.

The cars will be going head to head with Jeremy Taylor (gdb), David Montgomery (gdb) and Steve Pullen (gdb) who will be travelling to Monaco via public transport! There's about 30 minutes in it so it's going to be an extremely tight race.

Each team is tasked with raising £1,000 per car, but if Jeremy raises in excess of £1,000 then he’ll wear a Kermit the Frog outfit for the last two hours of the journey into Monaco. #isjeremykermit?

GDB aim to raise at least £12,000 for these wonderful charities:- CCVS, Chestnut Tree House, Golden Lion Children’s Trust, Home Start, Outreach 3Way, NSPCC, The Olive Tree, Rockinghorse, St Catherine’s Hospice, Sussex & Surrey Air Ambulance, Sussex Community Foundation, Sussex Wildlife Trust, Young Enterprise & Young Epilepsy.

All 12 cars have been taken by leading companies and business individuals across the Gatwick Diamond.

Please support us and the other teams by visiting our JustGiving pages to make a donation.
