We are a group of friends from Tintwistle and we would like your support so that we can raise as much money as we can for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. 

On Sunday the 12th of May 2013 we will undertake a challenging 19 mile mountain bike course through the scenic Peak District, starting and finishing in the picturesque village of Youlgreave near Bakewell in Derbyshire.  The route is varied, with some challenging climbs and features a technical descent between us and the finish line.

We are in serious training and we meet as often as we can, come hail or shine.  All this, in an effort to make sure that we are fit enough to complete the challenge on the 12th May in a respectable time.

Our biking leader is Chris “The Ferret” Bridge and he is putting us through our paces and pushing us to our limit and beyond – in more ways than one!!  The rest of our team are “Yorkshire Jon I.T. guru” Gill, Sam “The Mud Magnet” Gill, Nikki  “The Pocket Rocket” Bridge, Richard “Ricardo” Margrave and Kay “Bringing up the Rear“ Margrave
