I am so lucky to be running the 2013 London Marathon, to raise funds for Pilgrims Hospices as part of 'Team Pilgrims'!!  This is my first – and only! ;o) – Marathon and it’s a very special event for me.  I’ve wanted to do this for so many years and, as it’s my 'Big Birthday Year', it will certainly make the year even more memorable .... plus, as I have a degenerative hip problem, it’s literally ‘now or never’!  It’s such a big challenge for me and is definitely the craziest thing I’ve done to raise funds for Pilgrims ....and believe me, I’ve certainly done some pretty daft things!  I feel so passionately about reaching my target of £2000, I’m even prepared to run in fancy dress to gain extra sponsorship – all suggestions welcome!!  

Please accept my heartfelt thanks for your support – I sincerely appreciate all donations, no matter how great or small.  It would also be wonderful to see you in London on the Big Day.....I’ll need all the support I can get!
