I first came to Vietnam 2 years ago to teach. I was instantly struck by people's friendliness, kindness and smiles. What I fell in love with the most were the children. Unfortunately, many of them don't have the opportunity for an education or a stable family unit.

I have been working closely with Vietnamese children through teaching and volunteering at a local orphanage; and to say thank you for all the love, I will be cycling from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, a distance of 2100km/1200miles (twice the length of the UK!) to raise money for Saigon Children's Charity who help to ensure the children most in need receive an education.

So please, dig deep and donate! The children need you!!
