Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Being in a place and position to help the afflicted, the less able and vulnerable is a cherished and virtuous privilege for one to consider daily. Giving to alleviate the pains of a brother or sister in need makes us truly live.
Being able to have lots of fun with my colleagues up here in Derby after work, you would think they only know and remember this side of things; Far from it, they love charitable deeds and subject themselves to some kind of torture so they can feel what people with special needs feel. This time, they have got me involved to walk through 800 degrees hot coal for this same reason. Walking through fire unhurt might seem like a miracle but no less a miracle than the people without sight are able to navigate through life on a daily basis often without any form of lead.
I am involved and would be happy to get you involved with your kind donations so together we can uplift the status of the blind.
My father suffered from glaucoma and cataract, and as a result of poor surgery he couldn’t use his eyes for any familiar things, resulting in rapid deterioration of his overall health. If we could help more at the time, we would have provided better treatment but I only just started life after graduating from the university and he was snatched from us too soon... That is why this cause is very special to me!
Please, bring in your little and it can amount to much!
Thanks..
