My name is Eleri Kent. I attend UWC ATLANTIC COLLEGE and I'm a member of the Atlantic Outdoor Centre. In order to celebrate 50 years of a remarkable institution, the instructors and the students in this service are climbing the height of Everest (8,848m) in 24hrs on the new climbing wall at UWC Atlantic College to celebrate and support a unique educational institution.

The climb will start at 1700 on Wednesday 19th September and we will finish it at 1700 on Thursday 20th. We will have to climb the tower approximately 800 times to match the height of Everest!

Your support and generosity would be very much appreciated.

It is hoped that by taking part and completing the challenge we can achieve some objectives for the college:

1. Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the College with action.

2. Raise some money for the College so that we can continue to support students through bursaries and also through support for activities and projects at the college.
