Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my Cisco Ride Across Britain fund raising page.
For the second year running I am cycling two 100+ mile stages of the 9 day Ride Across Britain (RAB) to support the Cisco team in raising funds for the British Paralympic Association.
Very timely given the London 2012 Paralympic Games that are just starting, and the expectation of success there is for our paralympic athletes. Last year there were a number of paralympic athletes who participated in the RAB and I assure you their performance and achievements are inspiring.
On September 12th & 13th I will cycle the stages from Haydock to Penrith and Penrith to Glasgow
I realise most of you are aware that I am keen cyclist and have just completed the challenging Haute Route from Geneva to Nice. However that was not ridden by me for any charitable cause and I would appreciate any donation you feel able to offer toards the British Paralympic Association for my participation in this RAB event. Riding for many hours in the saddle in the UK in September could be a completely different proposition to the Alps. Still involves a challenge and certain amount of suffering, but a different climate.
Thanks in advance for your donation.
