The Atlantic Outdoor Centre (AOC) formally known as EMC are celebrating the 50th anniversary of the college by climbing the height of Everest on the AOC climbing tower.

One of the themes for the 50th anniversary is "celebrate with action" so we thought we could use the new tower to help raise some money to benefit students at the college.

A small team of us will be attempting the climb on the Wednesday 19th - Thursday 20th September, we will have to climb the tower approximately 800 times to match the height of Everest and we hope to do it in 24hrs!!

We will need all the encouragement we can get. The intial fundraising target is the height of Everest 8,848m - please dig deep and help us get to the summit.
