Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Rosie Kilburn died last year after a 3 and a half year battle with cancer. Before she died she decided she wanted to raise awareness about cancer and set up The Knock On Effect in order to raise money to donate to charities who help those indirectly and directly affected by cancer.
Beth McCarthy, Emily Padley & Lorna Morgan have all known Rosie since we were 10 & we wanted to do something for Rosie. So we've decided we want to get tattoos related to The Knock On Effect and to raise awareness - a tattoo that will always mean something to each of us, & will always remind us of Rosie. We thought while we were at it, we could ask people to help us & The Knock On Effect out with the 20K challenge; raising £20,000 in honour of Rosie's 20th birthday.
We are hoping to get the tattoos done in September, a year since Rosie died. And hopefully will have pictures of designs soon. We think it's important to note that no donations will go towards paying for our tattoos, & that we of course are doing that ourselves. The money will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
So, if you wanted to donate, we'd all be massively grateful & if not just look at http://theknockoneffect.wordpress.com/
