During the month of August 2012 I will be cultivating my armpit hair is support of Armpits4August, an event aiming to raise money for Verity, a charity which supports those affected by PCOS.

One of the symptoms of PCOS is excessive hair growth, it is perfectly natural to have body hair but many women are made to feel ashamed of it. The belief that it is not normal needs to be challenged and awareness of PCOS needs to be increased.

It is likely that even if you do not suffer from PCOS, you will know someone who does, so show your support for them and donate!
